The 33rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity

Misr University for Science and Technology had the honor of hosting the 33rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The Council is one of the specialized bodies affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities and is dedicated to developing students’ practical and creative skills through training programs, student exchange initiatives, and joint activities. These efforts aim to better prepare graduates for the labor market and to strengthen cooperation among Arab universities.

The meeting involved the signing of several memoranda between Misr University for Science and Technology and the participating Arab universities. These agreements focused on academic and research collaboration, student exchange, and joint training programs, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting Arab joint action and enhancing its role as a regional educational beacon.

The meeting was attended by several prominent academic leaders from across the Arab world, including:

• Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama: Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities and former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Arab Republic of Egypt)
• Prof. Dr. Nathir Muflih Obeidat: President of the University of Jordan and former Minister of Health (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)
• Prof. Dr. Emad Dawood: President of Palestine Ahliya University
• Prof. Dr. Fawaz Ahmed: Director of the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)
• Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Mohamed: President of the Open University of Libya
• Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib: President of the University of Anbar (Republic of Iraq)
• Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Sho’aibi: President of Taiz University (Republic of Yemen)
• Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi: President of Zarqa University (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)
• Eng. Jihad Nimer: Assistant Director of the Council (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)
